The 2009 Risky Skier trip to Reno is fast approaching and preparations here at RiskySkier.Com are coming along fast and furious! The only real issue is Mr. Risky himself, Reed, has decided to take off for the sunny tropics for the next two weeks! So when he shows up at the Masthead on Monday night, you can all express your heartfelt condolences for his jet lag . . .
This will be a much smaller, more intimate trip than many past, with only 20 Risky Skiers signed up (and three of those by word of mouth only). Due to the supreme lack of interest, the management team had decided to forgo some of the more elegant features of the trip in favor of keeping more gambling money in the hands of the members. This year buses will be provided gratis by the ski resorts, however, we aren't sure how that effects to usual Jungle Juice stop. Flasks may be the order of the day.
Squaw Valley will once again host our boys on Thursday, with the usual bowing down towards Norstar to take place on Friday. There will be a lunch voucher provided at one of the resorts.
However, the most important feature of any Risky Ski trip is still there - the Signature Hat! Details will be a surprise to all except those with a need to know clearance.
Since Reed will be floating in the Carribean up until the last possible moment, we won't know the exact cost of the trip (payable to him as always) but due to the lack of a hired bus, it should be a bit less than last year. If you are prepared for last year's tab, this year will be a pleasant surprise!
See you all at the Masthead on the 2nd for final de-briefing of the Rookies.
Don't forget to check out the teaser video at the bottom of the Videos Page (hidden in the link for Media for those of you who are internet challenged!

Web store gets bigger and better
Well, since our last update to the site, we have expanded our selection in the store. If you haven’t checked it out, you don’t know what you’re missing.
We’ve also tried to fix the web registration form, and it seems to be working. No one has actually registered via the form, but all our tests appear to show it as fully functional.
If you see any problems with any of the pages, or corrections, or typos, or whatever, please let us know. The site is a work in progress, or maybe a work in futility, but we want it to be as good as it can be. Soon we hope to have an RSS feed with ski resort updates, but that is still in vaporware at the moment.
The excitement Builds!!!

More changes and Additions!
Makoto Sun Design has once again outdone itself on more website features.
Updates to several pages, the most important being the introduction of some custom RiskySkier.Com Private Label products!
Yes, you too can have the same mouse pad that sits under the talented appendages of our website development team, or pack your briefs to the courthouse in one of our fancy messenger bags! (Just be sure to wash them first!)
More changes and updates as we get closer to the event!
Good job Gary
Hey, Gary did a great job on the website!! The committee is considering doubling his pay, but of course the participants would have to bare that cost.
Did anyone get the e-mail I sent out yesterday?
Funny, I haven't received any replies.
